Hi there!

My name is Shawn Mitchell, I live in Vancouver, BC, and I am running for a second term on the board of Mountain Equipment Co-op. This blog will be one space where you can find out more about me, my background and experience. You can also find me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter.

My first hope is that you will vote in the MEC board elections that are running from February 24th to March 31st. If you are a member of MEC, selecting who you want to represent your interests as a member on the board is a big part of the benefit of being part of a co-op. You are an owner.

My second hope is that you will vote for me.

And my third hope (and I may be pushing it a bit here), is that you will spread the word to your friends, family, colleagues and fellow members, encouraging them to vote ... and perhaps even encouraging them to vote for me as well.
